In this latest episode of MetCast, we discuss mental health in young people, and how research in this field continues to be a vital part of the wider conversation.

The show features a roundtable discussion with Dr Sarah Parry, academic lead on the Young Voices Study, James MacDonald, PhD student and researcher, and Simone Spray, CEO of youth mental health charity and University partner 42nd Street.

It also features a chat with Elaine Craig, Mental Health Researcher at Manchester Met and music by the BeeVocal choir - a group set up in the wake of the arena attacks to help people experiencing mental health difficulties.
